Please familiarize yourself with these rules before utilizing the range.
Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times while on the range.
No one under the influence or suspected of being under the influence of
alcohol or drugs will be allowed on the range.
No pregnant females
or people subject to seizures are permitted on the shooting range.
A maximum of three people are allowed per shooting bay.
Only paper targets may be used on the range. Non-paper
targets must be purchased from the range. We reserve the right to prohibit
targets we deem offensive or unsafe.
Use the appropriate size target, placed at eye level, to ensure that
your shot strikes the backstop and not the floor, ceiling, or target
carrier.
Shoot only at your target.
No Rapid Fire. One round per second
No one is permitted forward of the firing line (the bench) at any time.
Always keep firearms pointed downrange and unloaded until ready to use.
Treat every gun as if it is loaded, and keep your finger off the
trigger until you are ready to shoot.
Do not lay a firearm down on the bench rest unless it is unloaded.
Do not hand a loaded firearm to another person.
Use only the correct ammunition for your firearm.
Do not remove a jammed, or malfunctioning firearm from the firing
point. Lay the gun down on the bench with the barrel pointed down range.
Then ask range personnel for assistance.
When finished firing, unload & case your gun before leaving the
shooting point.
Please pick up only your own brass that is behind the firing line.
Never extend any part of your body beyond the firing line to retrieve brass.
Do not disturb other shooters while picking up your brass, or pick up brass
from another shooting point while someone is shooting even if the brass
belongs to you.
Be sure your firearm is safe to operate, and know how to use it safely.
All firearms not on the firing line must be unloaded and in their
cases.
Food, tobacco, and beverages are prohibited on the range at all times.
Tracer, armor piercing, steel and military surplus ammo is
not allowed on the range.
Commands issued by any range staff must be followed immediately.
When the command CEASE FIRE
is given:
STOP SHOOTING immediately. REMOVE your finger from the trigger; keep the gun POINTED down range
WAIT for further instructions from range personnel.
** Always wash your face and hands immediately after shooting your
firearm. Sinks are located in the restrooms for your use.
Firing a shot that results in damage to any range equipment may result
in a repair fine, and/or removal from the range.
Drawing from holster is not allowed unless you are an active Police Officer,participating in a training class or range sanctioned
event or hold a "Double Tap / Holster Fire" practice permit.
If you observe any violation of these range
rules, please bring it to the attention of any staff member and we will take
corrective action. It is our goal to have a completely safe range for you to
enjoy every visit.
